Nuneaton Swimming Club have issued some important information regarding this weekend meet at Pingles.

Good luck to the development and link swimmers

Message from Nuneaton’s Meet Organiser:

We will be monitoring bags on poolside, we have stated in the promoters conditions that swimmers should only bring a small bag on poolside (pump type bag – small drawstring), this is to ensure that the room on poolside is kept free for swimmers and so that air vents are not blocked. Large bags will not be allowed poolside- swimmers/coaches will be asked to put them in a locker or leave with parents in the stands.

We have plenty of benches poolside for swimmers & coaches so please do not bring any fold up chairs with you, there will be no room for these and if they are brought in you will be asked to remove them from poolside.

There are plenty of lockers available in the changing rooms for all bags & personal items.

Flip flops or other shoes must be worn on thte balcony at all times

We will be marshalling from the changing room end of the pool and using the step for lining up the heats (as is done for Cov & Districts) and using the creche for recording, medals and the ‘Chocolate tombola’

The car park is also likely to be very busy we would encourage car sharing where possible. Alternative parking is available directly opposite the entrance to Pingles (entrance is by the traffic lights opposite the Cedar Tree pub) this is a free carpark and is approx. 2-3 mins walk from the pool, there is also a free car park on Attleborough Road opposite the Bull pub, this is also free and is approx. 5 mins walk to the pool. Do not use the car park at the Cedar Tree
